Summary

This study tested a special counseling and support program for people with multiple system atrophy (MSA) and their caregivers. MSA is a rare, serious brain disease that makes daily activities very hard. The goal was to see if this program could improve the emotional and social well-being of both patients and the people who care for them. The study involved 130 participants and measured quality of life using a specific questionnaire.
