First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study is testing a new MRI technique to see if it can better predict stroke risk in people with narrowed arteries in the brain (intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis). Researchers will measure blood flow pressure using a special MRI scan and track 400 participants for one year to see who has a stroke. The goal is to improve how doctors identify high-risk patients who may need more aggressive treatment.
