First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding an MRI scan to the usual CT scan helps doctors choose the right treatment for people with pancreatic cancer. About 200 patients whose CT scans show no spread to the liver will be randomly assigned to get an MRI or not. The goal is to see if the MRI changes the treatment plan and helps avoid unnecessary surgeries.
