Summary
This study tested a new drug called MR-107A-02 for treating acute pain after hernia repair surgery. About 579 adults took part, comparing the drug to a placebo and to tramadol, a standard painkiller. The goal was to see if MR-107A-02 reduces pain intensity and the need for extra opioid rescue medication.
