Back surgery recovery: which patients get their leg strength back?

Summary

This study is looking at why some people recover leg strength better than others after surgery for a slipped disc. Researchers will follow 40 patients who have leg weakness before surgery and track factors like age, weight, and how long they had weakness. The goal is to find out which factors matter most for recovery.
