Summary

This study tested a special educational program based on motivational interviewing to help people with sleep apnea use their CPAP machine more regularly. 100 adults newly prescribed CPAP took part. The program aimed to improve adherence, motivation, quality of life, and daytime sleepiness over 90 days.
