Asthma drug could help fight Parkinson's symptoms

Summary

This study is testing whether montelukast, a medication commonly used for asthma and allergies, can help control Parkinson's disease symptoms. The trial will involve 60 people with Parkinson's who are already taking levodopa medication. Researchers will measure changes in movement, daily activities, and mood to see if adding montelukast provides additional benefit.
