First seen Nov 15, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study involves 171 adults with light chain amyloidosis, a condition where abnormal proteins build up in the heart. Researchers will use special PET and MRI scans to track these deposits and measure heart function over 6 to 12 months. The goal is to better understand what causes heart damage, which could lead to new treatments.
