Bladder drug may calm deadly heart rhythms in small trial

Summary
This study tests whether mirabegron, a drug normally used for bladder issues, can reduce dangerous heart rhythms in people with heart disease. Twenty adults with an implanted defibrillator and frequent ventricular tachycardia will take the drug for two months. Researchers will compare heart rhythm recordings before and after treatment to see if the drug helps control the condition.
