NCT ID NCT04847843

Summary

This study tested whether mindfulness training could help adults who had recently lost weight keep it off. Researchers worked with 48 people, including some who had bariatric surgery, to see if learning mindful awareness of eating behaviors would prevent weight regain over 6 months. The goal was to change automatic eating habits and improve the ability to savor food and experiences.
