Can a single mindfulness lesson ease surgery pain?
NCT ID NCT06141720
Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether a single, brief mindfulness session before surgery can help people with endometriosis. The goal is to see if learning mindfulness techniques is practical for patients and if it might help them cope with stress and pain after their operation. Researchers will measure pain levels, opioid medication use, sleep, and emotional well-being to gather preliminary data for future, larger studies.
