Summary
This pilot study will test whether a remotely delivered mindfulness-based diabetes education program, combined with home blood sugar monitoring, is feasible and acceptable for rural Black adults with type 2 diabetes and high diabetes distress. The program is compared to standard diabetes self-management education. The study aims to enroll 80 participants from federally qualified health centers and will assess factors like enrollment, attendance, and participant satisfaction.
