Radar tech could spot hidden injury risks in soldiers

NCT ID NCT05521126

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study explores whether micro-Doppler radar, a type of motion-sensing technology, can tell if someone has had ACL knee surgery just by watching how they move. Researchers will compare movement patterns from 181 adults—some with past ACL repairs and some without—while they do simple activities like jumping and walking. The goal is to see if this radar can accurately identify those at higher risk for future musculoskeletal injuries.
