Summary

This study screens 1000 adults aged 40 and older for MGUS, a condition where an abnormal protein is found in the blood. While MGUS itself is not cancer, it can sometimes develop into multiple myeloma, a blood cancer. Researchers aim to learn more about the genetic and immune factors behind MGUS to improve early detection and future care for all populations.
