First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study is testing a blood screening program to find multiple myeloma and its early stages (MGUS and smoldering myeloma) in Black adults aged 50 and older. Participants get a simple blood test and fill out questionnaires about their experience and knowledge of the disease. Those with abnormal results receive help navigating follow-up care. The goal is to see if community-based screening and patient navigation can improve early detection and reduce cancer disparities.
