New italian network aims to catch rare blood disease earlier

Summary

This study is creating a network of hospitals in Italy to find and treat AL amyloidosis earlier. Researchers will screen people with certain blood conditions (MGUS or smoldering myeloma) using special tests. The goal is to speed up diagnosis, connect patients to the right care, and learn more about the disease. About 760 adults will take part.
