First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tested whether a short course of steroids (Medrol Dose Pak) given after total knee replacement can reduce pain, nausea, and the need for painkillers. About 100 adults with knee arthritis took part. The goal was to see if this simple anti-inflammatory treatment helps people recover more comfortably in the first week after surgery.
