New scan aims to see tumors more clearly
NCT ID NCT00840047
Summary
This study is testing a new type of imaging scan to see if it can better detect and monitor tumors in children and young adults with cancer. The scan uses a radioactive form of a natural protein building block called methionine. Researchers want to see how well this new scan works compared to standard imaging methods like MRI.
