First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at metal levels (cobalt, chromium, titanium, nickel) in the blood of 60 adults after knee replacement surgery. Some had robotic-assisted surgery, others had the traditional method. The goal is to see if one approach leads to higher metal levels, which could affect safety. Participants must not have had prior joint replacements or metal implants.
