NCT ID NCT05575128

Summary

This study tested whether a combined program of talk therapy and careful medication review could help reduce feelings of depression and anxiety in adults aged 60 and older who were having major heart surgery. It compared this special program to the usual care patients receive. Researchers measured participants' mental health symptoms three months after their surgery to see if the program made a difference.
