Summary

This study looked at whether a type of mental coaching, called operant conditioning, can improve thigh muscle strength and activation in people who had ACL surgery. 11 participants completed the program. The goal was to see if the brain could be trained to better activate the quadriceps muscle, which often stays weak after injury.
