NCT ID NCT07103603

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study examined whether menopausal hormone therapy (MHT) can improve liver function and reduce fat buildup in the liver in postmenopausal women. 44 women were split into two groups: 22 received MHT and 22 did not. After 6 months, researchers measured liver enzymes, fat levels, and fibrosis markers using blood tests and ultrasound. The goal was to see if MHT offers liver benefits during menopause.
