Summary

This study looks at how a drug called scopolamine affects brain areas involved in memory. Sixty adults with epilepsy who are already having brain surgery for seizure monitoring will take part. They will receive either the drug or a saltwater solution and perform memory tasks while their brain activity is recorded. The goal is to understand which parts of memory formation the drug changes and how brain signals shift.
