Summary
This study looked at whether a Mediterranean diet made with local Indonesian foods helps obese women lose weight and improve health better than a standard low-calorie diet. 54 women with a BMI of 27 or higher followed one of the two diets for 4 weeks. Researchers measured weight, body fat, inflammation, and gut bacteria changes.
