Decades-Long study launches to uncover why medical students struggle

NCT ID NCT07305701

Summary

This is a long-term observational study aiming to understand why medical students experience high rates of depression and anxiety. Researchers will follow up to 10,000 students over many years, comparing those in medical school to those who were not accepted. The goal is to identify key risk factors—like financial stress or loneliness—to help design better support and prevention programs in the future.
