Summary
This study looked at whether medical cannabis can help people with chronic pain cut down on opioid medications. 29 patients who wanted to reduce their opioid use but couldn't afford medical cannabis were given access to it. Over five months, doctors tracked their pain levels and opioid use to see if cannabis was a safe and effective alternative.
