Summary
This study looks at whether a new care plan can help more people with pulmonary embolism (a blood clot in the lungs) go home from the emergency room instead of being admitted to the hospital. Researchers are working with 14 hospital ERs in Michigan to track changes in how often low-risk patients are discharged. The goal is to improve care and avoid unnecessary hospital stays.
