Magnetic pulses plus massage ease sciatica pain in small trial

NCT ID NCT07234071

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether adding a painless magnetic stimulation treatment to standard manual therapy (like massage and stretching) helps people with sciatica caused by a herniated disc. Forty adults were split into two groups: one got manual therapy alone, the other got manual therapy plus magnetic stimulation. After three weeks, researchers measured changes in pain, leg mobility, and daily function to see if the combo worked better.
