First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a mango and chia-based beverage can improve the gut bacteria of 100 children aged 8 to 16 who have obesity. The children will drink the beverage for 6 weeks, and researchers will check their stool samples before and after to see if the drink helps balance their gut microbes. The goal is to find a simple, food-based way to help manage childhood obesity.
