First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tested a special counseling program called CALM (Managing Cancer and Living Meaningfully) for people with brain cancer. 60 participants were split into two groups: one received CALM plus usual care, the other just usual care. The goal was to see if CALM is practical and helpful for reducing distress and death anxiety. Results will show if this therapy is worth offering more widely.
