First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study will test whether low-frequency magnetic field therapy (magnetotherapy) can reduce pain and improve hand function in people with mild-to-moderate carpal tunnel syndrome. Sixty adults will be randomly assigned to receive either active magnetotherapy, a placebo device, or standard care (wrist splint and exercises). The goal is to see if magnetotherapy offers additional benefits beyond usual treatments.
