New synthetic bone putty aims to improve spine surgery outcomes
NCT ID NCT04679844
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a synthetic bone graft material called MagnetOs Easypack Putty in people having spinal fusion surgery for back pain or spine instability. The putty is used alone to help bones fuse together. Researchers want to see if it works as well as or better than current treatments that mix donated bone material with the patient's own bone. About 60 adults will take part, and the main goal is to check if the bones have fused properly after 12 months using CT scans.
