Cat allergy study probes immune cells in lymph nodes

NCT ID NCT07447869

First seen Mar 06, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at immune cells in the lymph nodes of 16 cat-allergic adults. Half are on long-term allergy shots, half are not. Researchers will take samples from lymph nodes, blood, and nose after a controlled cat allergen exposure to see how the immune system responds. The goal is to learn more about how allergy treatments work, not to test a new therapy.
