Vaccine aimed at stopping colon cancer in lynch syndrome patients shows promise

Summary
This study tests a special vaccine (Tri-Ad5) combined with an immune booster (N-803) to see if it can prevent colon cancer and other cancers in people with Lynch syndrome, a genetic condition that raises cancer risk. About 186 participants will receive either the vaccine combo or a placebo. The goal is to lower the number of precancerous growths and cancers over time.
