First seen Feb 16, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests whether a surgery called lymphovenous bypass can help people with diabetic peripheral neuropathy. The surgery aims to drain high-pressure lymph fluid into veins, which may reduce nerve pain, improve foot ulcers, and slow nerve damage. Researchers will enroll 60 adults aged 20 to 80 with diabetic neuropathy and track changes in nerve function, pain, and wound healing over time.
