Radioactive drug shows promise against rare lung cancer in new trial

Summary
This study tests if a radioactive drug called lutetium Lu 177 dotatate works better than the usual drug everolimus for people with advanced lung neuroendocrine tumors. About 70 adults with tumors that have spread will get either the radioactive drug or everolimus. The goal is to see which treatment helps keep the cancer from growing longer.
