Can better doctor training save more lung cancer patients?

Summary
This study aims to see if providing standardized training to cancer doctors in smaller city and county hospitals leads to better testing and treatment for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. It will follow 1,000 patients to measure if doctors order more recommended genetic tests and use newer targeted therapies after receiving this education. The goal is to understand if improving medical guidelines in these settings helps patients live longer without their cancer getting worse.
