First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looked at whether low level laser therapy (LLLT) can help relieve pain and improve hand function in adults with hand osteoarthritis. About 83 military members and their families received either real LLLT or a sham treatment once a week for six weeks. The goal was to see if the laser could reduce pain and make daily hand activities easier.
