Summary
This study looked at whether novice doctors can place a breathing tube more easily when they sit cross-legged (Lotus position) versus standing freely. 72 medical trainees with limited experience participated. The goal was to see if the Lotus position improves first-attempt success in challenging prehospital conditions.
