First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether losartan, a common blood pressure medicine that also reduces scarring, can prevent abnormal scar tissue (arthrofibrosis) in the knee after ACL reconstruction. About 144 adults having ACL surgery will take losartan or a placebo. The main goal is to see if it helps maintain knee range of motion over 12 months.
