New drug shows promise for Long-Term bipolar depression control

Summary

This study tests the long-term safety and effectiveness of azetukalner in 400 adults with bipolar I or II depression who already completed a previous study on the same drug. Participants will take the medication openly (everyone knows they are getting it) for an extended period. The goal is to see if the drug remains safe and helps control depression symptoms over time.
