New test could predict which donor livers will succeed, saving more lives
NCT ID NCT07315204
Summary
This study aims to validate a new test to predict if a donor liver will function well after transplantation. Researchers will measure a substance called FMN in fluid samples taken from livers being prepared on a special machine. The goal is to help doctors better decide which donor livers are safe to use, potentially reducing transplant failures and complications for patients.
