New tools could better predict survival in advanced liver disease
NCT ID NCT07238543
Summary
This study aims to test and compare new scoring systems designed to predict complications and survival in hospitalized patients with advanced liver cirrhosis (liver scarring). Researchers will enroll 100 adults admitted to the hospital with a serious complication of their liver disease. The goal is to see if these new scores are more accurate than current standard tools at identifying which patients are at highest risk.
