Summary

This study tests whether a medication called lisdexamfetamine, combined with healthy lifestyle changes, can help children aged 6 to 12 with severe obesity lose weight. About 44 children will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a placebo, along with lifestyle therapy. The main goal is to see if the drug leads to a greater reduction in body mass index (BMI) after 24 weeks.
