First seen Dec 18, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests whether taking a daily oil rich in linoleic acid (a type of omega-6 fat) can improve insulin resistance and other metabolic health markers in adults. 120 participants with insulin resistance will receive either the linoleic acid oil or a control oil for 8 weeks. The goal is to see if this dietary change can help manage metabolic disease risk factors.
