Summary
This study tested a new approach for glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. During surgery to remove the tumor, doctors used a special light therapy (photodynamic therapy) with increasing light doses to see if it was safe. The goal was to improve the standard treatment of surgery followed by chemotherapy and radiation. The study involved 14 patients and focused on finding the highest safe light dose.
