NCT ID NCT05811624

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a behavioral weight reduction program (diet, exercise, and behavior changes) to standard back pain treatment can help overweight or obese people with chronic low back pain. About 252 adults will be split into two groups: one gets the weight program plus standard rehab, the other gets standard rehab alone. The main goal is to see if pain levels improve more with the added weight loss program.
