Researchers ask: what makes you say yes to a genetic counseling study?

NCT ID NCT05126810

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looks at why people with Li-Fraumeni syndrome (a condition that raises cancer risk) might agree to join a future trial comparing standard genetic counseling with a personalized version. About 500 participants will answer questions about their willingness to take part. The goal is to understand what influences their decision, not to test a treatment.
