Brain tumor patients may avoid first seizure with common drug

Summary
This study tests whether the seizure drug levetiracetam (Keppra) can prevent first-time seizures in people with brain metastases located in the motor cortex. About 150 adults who have never had a seizure will be randomly assigned to take the drug or receive usual care. The goal is to see if preventive treatment lowers the chance of having a seizure.
