Summary
This early-stage trial tests whether a device called TheraOne can safely and temporarily open the blood-brain barrier in people with recurrent brain tumors. The device uses focused ultrasound and microbubbles to create tiny, temporary openings in the barrier, which might allow treatments to reach the brain more effectively. Six adults with recurrent grade 4 glioma or brain metastases will undergo a single sonication session and be monitored for 30 days. The main goal is to assess safety and see if the procedure is feasible.
